About Us
The Mackworth Hotel is a converted 18th century farmhouse with views over the Peak District, delightfully situated on the edge of the medieval village of Mackworth and near Derby. Hotel accommodation comes in the shape of 13 rooms including family rooms. The Mackworth Hotel is an ideal location for business travellers and tourists alike, being just two miles out of Derby City Centre with easy links to the M1/M6/A38/A50 and East Midlands Airport. The hotel has two function rooms which can be used for business meetings and conferences and the venue has a full wedding licence. The hotel restaurant offers a selection of home cooked food and a daily carvery. In our large function room, we have a full line up of entertainment events including tribute acts and murder mystery parties. Hotel accommodation rates include our fantastic free breakfast.

- British Beef and Pedigree Ale PieOne of our finest pies around! A deep-filled, shortcrust pastry pie oozing with slow-cooked, tender chunks of british beef in Marston's Pedigree Ale gravy. Served with new potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
- Aubergine Parmigiana (V)Slices of aubergine layered with mozzarella and a rich tomato sauce topped with a golden crumb, served with garlic bread and a side salad.
- The Classic Beef BurgerAn 8oz burger served in a floured bun with tomato and mixed leaves. Served with a burger relish.
- Smoky Fish and Spinach PiePieces of salmon, white fish and smoked coley in a rich creamy sauce topped with mashed potatoes and served with vegetables.
- Toffee, Sultana and Clotted Cream PuddingToffee flavoured sponge topped with plump sweet sultanas and a rich toffee and clotted cream sauce.
- Profiterole and Caramel CheesecakeA buttery biscuit base, with a creamy vanilla cheesecake topped with profiteroles and caramel sauce.
